Short Bio of Dr. Sayed M Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury almamun731971@gmail.com; 8801712121316 Dr. Sayed M Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury is a Professor and former Chairperson in the Department of International Relations, University of Rajshahi. Dr. Chowdhury received his Honor’s and Master’s degree in History from the same university. He did his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Dhaka. Dr. Chowdhury’s teaching interests include Geo-politics, History of South Asia, England, Europe, Middle East and USA. He is now taking courses on History of Bangladesh, Genocide & War Crimes, Refugee-Migrants and Displaced, Foreign Policy of Bangladesh, History of the USA, Marin Affairs, International Law, Public Policy and Comparative Foreign Policies. Mr. Chowdhury is a talk-show personality and columnist. His primary research interests are in the field of the Liberation war of Bangladesh and US-South Asia Relations. He has supervised 17 research works on Rohingya. Apart from his basic study area, he is a popular resource person on Global Politics, the Liberation war of Bangladesh, National Integrity Strategy, Professional Ethics, Professional Behavior and Etiquette, Anti-corruption, Customer Satisfaction/behavior etc. He already has published six books. He has written a chapter in the book entitled Palgrave Handbook of Public Administration which is enlisted in the curriculum of MIT, Oxford and Harvard University! One of the Two of his secondary level text books on history were printed more than three lakh copies in the last 10 years. Dr. Chowdhury is a mentor of the Mental Health Center in the University of Rajshahi. He is an active social worker also. He is a Presidium Member of Progressive Movement in Bangladesh, Member of Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, Life member of India-Bangladesh Friendship Society and Member of Bangladesh History Society. He is a rated Chess player also.
